Critical Alerts

You can allow selected life-threatening warnings to use Critical Alerts, which can sound even when your iPhone is silenced. This requires your permission in iOS and the app’s alert settings.
Notifications can be delayed or missed. Use NOAA Weather Radio, Wireless Emergency Alerts, and instructions from local officials as additional sources of urgent information.
