Support FAQ
Quick answers for common support questions.
How do I contact Severe WeatherGuardian support?
Email justin.encrypted@protonmail.ch with your device type, iOS version, app version, and a short description of the issue.
How do I restore Severe WeatherGuardian Plus?
Open Severe WeatherGuardian Settings and choose Restore Purchases. App Store purchases and subscriptions are managed by Apple.
How do I manage or cancel a Severe WeatherGuardian Plus subscription?
Open Severe WeatherGuardian Settings and choose Manage Subscription, or manage subscriptions from your Apple Account settings.
Why am I not receiving weather alerts?
Check that notifications are allowed in iOS Settings, that the saved alert location is enabled in Severe WeatherGuardian, that the selected alert categories match the weather you expect, and that the location is covered by National Weather Service products.
Why is Live Radar or Tropical Tracker unavailable?
Live Radar and Tropical Tracker require Severe WeatherGuardian Plus and an internet connection. Official NOAA/NWS products can also be delayed, unavailable, or outside the supported coverage area.
Are Severe WeatherGuardian alerts official warnings?
No. Severe WeatherGuardian can monitor and summarize official NOAA/NWS products, but Severe WeatherGuardian itself is a best-effort awareness tool. Treat NOAA Weather Radio, Wireless Emergency Alerts, emergency services, and public safety instructions as higher priority.
Safety reminder
Severe WeatherGuardian alerts are best-effort and are not a replacement for NOAA Weather Radio, Wireless Emergency Alerts, emergency services, or instructions from public safety officials.
